Its the first weekend I've spent in London since I started working here 3months ago! Today is gonna be a complete sofa day as I am gonna be having a heavy night! The shoot is super cool and laid back- exactly how I'm feeling today! Happy Saturday!

THE DRESS

Today I was introduced to a new source of inspiration. Elin Kling since 2007 has been running scandinavia's largest fashion blog STYLE BY KLING. This discovery emerged through a friend of mine Anna suggesting I was this girl long lost sister! Now educated by Elin's blog, I have been enlightened with the news that next week she launches her collaboration for H&M which will solely be sold in Sweden. I have literally fallen in love with the dress below (and luckily I have a close family friend in sweden willing to que and purchase it for me.) I actually can't wait to receive it in the post! Btw it's sole purpose if for a family wedding in the spring, do you think the slit is a little high? Meh I don't think I care!

After me, the flood.

Tonight I watch the moving documentary; VALENTINO THE LAST EMPEROR. A intimate fly-on-the-wall exploration of the singular world of one of Italy's most famous men, providing a first-time glimpse into Valentino's world of bygone glamour. The Documentary which was filmed over the course of two years follows the story of a master confronting the final act of his celebrated career. Valentino's collections are by far my inspiration, some of the most beautiful dresses' I have ever seen. He says at the beginning of the film that he loves beautiful things. Ironic some how as he is possibly the creator of some of the most beautiful 'things' in the world.

I saw the black swan tonight and had to re-blog. Possibly one of the most stunning art directions I have seen for such a intense, sexy, twisted thriller. Ballet is really one of the most beautiful art forms. The film had my hair standing on end from start to finish, when I turned to my friend at the end she was literally about to burst into tears. A defiant watch purely for Portman's incredible. I'm slightly in love… watch this space for Natalie style (pre pregnancy) post.

Possibly two of the most striking colours, yet still so chic, classic and timeless. Sometimes the simpler the better. We will all be most certainly seeing red this season.

Burberry Spring 2011 Campaign Preview / Cara Delevingne by Mario Testino

This seasons Burberry campaign was shoot in my hometown Brighton! My grandma was lucky enough to be having a walk along the beach when it was shot! What I would do to wander past a Mario Testino shoot, I image she wasn't quite as excited. Without sounding bias, I love the setting and Cara looks fresh faced and perfectly Burberry-esq.

Kill me now, I can't possibility WANT anything more. The PS1 is one of my most desired accessory and it hurts that I will never EVER have one! Fall 2011 looks full of crazy prints and masculine silhouette, but the bags are just too good- keeping it simple I would die for the last black suede / leather style featured last on this post.

The 'Black Swan', Darren Aronofsky's horror-tinged thriller about the rivalry between two ballerinas, the eyes of the fashion world were eager to get a first glimpse of the costumes (our office are off to see it next wednesday) The costumes have been created by hot fashion design duo, the Mulleavy sisters.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy's label Rodarte is one of the most sought-after tickets at New York Fashion Week, earning them a significant celebrity following with Kirsten Dunst, Dasha Zhukova and Natalie Portman among their most loyal supporters.
