PURPLE [FASHION] magazine

The french magazine Purple Fashion has been a love of mine for the last couple of years. The publication which comes out bi-annually is my fashion/music/art bible. This seasons cover is hands down my favorite magazine cover of all this year, featuring Chloe Sevigny (style GOD). The image is stunning (white backed with a purple silhouette)- so simple yet so chic, clever, sophisticated and god dam cool. 

Sevigny's fashion story within is beautifully styled and in complete comprehension of her own personal style which I feel is a detail that stylist sometimes overlooked. Chloe is one of the best dressed women of her generation and I take inspiration from her unique style.

Beautiful Balenciaga

Navy on navy oozes sophistication. I have been in love with the Balenciaga Motorcycle Le Dix bag for as long as I can remember. It will forever be my ultimate 'it' bag.

FASHION_LOVE

Philip Lim has by far become one of my favourite designer.... When in Liberty's last week I was totally captivated by his pieces, his designs are addictive. Below is his SS11 Runway. When I find some well styled images of his pieces which feature on my imagery wish list I will share their beauty with you.

I Love... the colour palette of camel and blue... the black and brown with the leather collar... the leather shorts... the sheer layering.

My-wardrobe press day SS11

IRO (see first 2 images) is one of my favourite brands that we stock- I am obsessed with with quilted leather this season so naturally I fell in love with jacket jacket in the first image.

For another favourite... EQUIPMENT shirts are a wardrobe staple and feel amazing- so luxurious!

Shirts shirts shirts! Actually love the first snake skin print one by equipment scaly/ snake skin prints are my new must have, acne have a similar one that I also loved!

My-wardrobe.com SS11 Press day

Last Wednesday I attended my-wardrobe.com's SS11 press day. It was in The Oui Rooms in London which was a really unique venue- the show room was made up of 4 almost overlapping mezzanine levels brought together by a central staircase. The space worked perfectly to divide up menswear and womenswear. Below are a few picture I took...

This months UK Vogue amazed me. Bringing together the most inspirational models of this decade in one shoot with Mario Testino only confirms that Vogue is the ultimate fashion bible of the decade. Happy 100th post Lola_bell xoxo

I am obsessed with Georgia Jagger... For me she is getting stronger and stronger with every shoot. Her features make her look so unique and current. That signature Jagger pout and Hall bone structure are the makings of an iconic face on fashion!

Lanvin for H&M

The highly anticipated Lanvin for H&M Collection is the biggest fashion story of the year, below is a first look at the campaign. This initial teaser shows Natasha Poly and Hannelore Knuts experiencing a case of high fashion angst, with asymmetric necklines, ruffles and super-flattering, feminine silhouettes the collection will carry all of Lanvin's signature trademarks, with a pleasing H&M price tag.

THE most exciting collaboration H&M has ever produced is due to hit the shops on November 23rd.

Masked Beauty

The elite of the fashion world showed us why they are so fabulous at Vogue Paris' 90th Anniversary 'Masked Ball.' The outfits were incredible and with masks to match, Natalia Vodianova's black lace dress is incredible.
