Everyday Luxury

To represent the launch of my-wardrobe.com's new direction, the new look site signifies the cleaner, more directional, sharp identity. The brands now defines Everyday Luxury as a pose to the original 'accessible fashion' strap line.  The home page today looks amazing and I can't wait to see whats to come in terms of shoots, styling and editorials. Watch this space www.my-wardrobe.com.

stalking

I know its fashion week, but I keep seeing the senior fashion editor of inStyle magazine (ex- sunday time style) Natalie Hartley EVERYWHERE! She must have a very recognizable face as I NEVER recognize anyone!

This incredibly talented man was sitting opposite me at Giles last night. After much deliberation, I have decided I love his recent collection, not all of it, but particularly the looks I have featured.

front row at giles

Lucky me managed to get herself front row at Giles Deacon's Show this evening at the Royal Court of Justice. The venue themed show, included a court summon as an invitation and guest proceeding on arrival through a metal detector security check. The show itself exceeded my expectations, the giles ladylike look was still there as we know it, but slightly more edgy more like deconstructed couture with the use of leather and fur it made the gorgeous silhouettes somewhat more interesting. The front row was slightly star studded but I was way more concerned about the model line up which included Jourdan Dunn, the incredible Anja Rubik and my fav model of the moment Bambi! Here are a few of my pictures captured from my work's very cool flip camera!

NETAPORTERMAGAZINE

Today brings the launch of the first paper based Net-a-Porter magazine- with an editorial team made up of ex Vogue and Elle employees it was sure to be good.  Curiosity spread across our department whilst we one by one browsed the issue to see what trends we would be coveting this season. The magazine, is a basic style guide to SS11 featuring purely Net-A-Porter stock (obviously), heavyly featuring two main fashion icons, Alexa Chung  and Anna Dello Russo- I have above included the Alexa's shoot which I like, don't love. I think she is an odd choice for a subject as I don't really think that she represents the Net girl? Never the less  she of course looks effortlessly cool in the shoot which features my FAV red, lace Erdem dress! ENJOY... the mag is sent to loyal customers and is also available to buy on the site for £7.00 from today.
